New Library Student Employee Orientation

Due to COVID-19, New Student Employee Orientation will only be available online as a PowerPoint presentation. Please email for more information or if you would like to complete it.

New Student Employee Orientation will return to in-person sessions at a later date and will be as follows:

Session 1- History of the Library, Virtual Tour, and Policies & Procedures (50 minutes)

Session 2- Customer Service (50 minutes)

Session 3- Special Collections Presentation (50 minutes)

Sessions 1 and 2 will always be held back to back, typically every other week. You must attend both sessions to be eligible for any future raise. You may attend them in any order, and on different days if necessary.

Session 3 will not occur at the same time as sessions 1 and 2. Session 3 will occur at a later date (typically once per semester) at which time an employee from Special Collections will give an in-person presentation about Special Collections. You are not required to attend Session 3 in order to be eligible for future raises; however, it is still important that you be present at the next Special Collections presentation.
